James M. Alo was born in Tagbilaran City in 1971.He then earned his B.S. In nursing from University of Bohol. He graduated at University of Santo Tomas (UST) in the Institute of Graduate Studies with the Masters’ Degree in Pscyhology majoring industrial psychology. Alo also earned his M.A. Degree in nursing at PCHS, Metro Manila.
He earned his Doctorate Degree from Adamson University majoring in Educational Management, and Educational Research in 2007.
Alo held a faculty positions at the South-East Asian College of Quezon City, University of Perpetual Help System-Las Pinas, Adamson University, and University of the East. He also was a research instructor of nursing education at Far Eastern University.
He is also acting as the training coordinator and lecturer at Mentors Consultancy for Canada Caregiver Training Center.

James M. Alo, RN, MAN, MAP, Ph.D is an assistant professor of nursing at University of Perpetual Help System-Las Pinas. He has been in the academe for seven years in the field of nursing, psychology and basic education. He taught the following subjects: nursing care management and leadeship, nursing care management to patient with diseases, psychiatric nursing, fundamentals in nursing, primary health care nursing, health economics, bio-health ethics, nursing pharmacology, emergency nursing, communicable nursing, community health nursing, industrial psychology, guidance/counseling, advanced group dynamics, and general psychology.
